The Clinical Guideline on the Pharmacological Treatment of People With Multiple Sclerosis was developed jointly by ECTRIMS and the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).
Registries for MS Clinical Trials
A number of governmental not-for-profit and for-profit organisations provide useful and easily accessible registries for recent and ongoing clinical trials.
Clinicaltrials.gov is a registry of worldwide clinical trials run by the United States Library of Medicine.
The Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) provides a list of MS databases and registries in Europe and Australia and general information about clinical trial design for patients interested in participating in a study.
The International Advisory Committee on Clinical Trials in Multiple Sclerosis
is jointly supported by the US National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) and ECTRIMS.
The Committee:
- Provides perspective and guidance in areas of interest to planning and implementation of clinical trials for new agents for the treatment of multiple sclerosis
- Works as a whole, in international meetings and consensus-building activities, or through subcommittees and task forces on specific topics
